Yesenia Uribe, a Rotaractor in Cuidad Juárez, Mexico, attended a workshop held by the Institute of Economics and Peace last year, and was inspired to put into practice the message she learned that peace starts in small communities. Members of her Rotaract Club of Juárez Integra began an ambitious project to paint murals in graffiti-ridden public spaces to create a clean and safe environment. The 10 murals send a bold message about the power of Rotary and Rotaract working together to build peace.
