Due to the price of the meals being raised, if you pay at the door then the price of your meal payment will be raised by $2.00. So, if you paid $5 at the door then it is now $7 and if you paid $10 at the door then it is now $12. Also, there will be a price change coming reference the membership costs.

At our May 10th meeting President Marty Corley presented the Rotary Club of Michigan City Service Above Self Community Service Award to Michigan City High School MCJROTC Cadet Zachary Benedict for exemplary community service.
President Corley also presented the inaugural Teacher of the Year “Service Above Self” award to Coolspring Elementary teacher Brianne Covington. The Teacher of the Year “Service Above Self” award honors an educator within the Michigan City Area Schools system who embodies the Rotary motto of Service Above Self and exemplifies this message in his or her classroom.
Former First Lady of the United States Laura Bush, an advocate for literacy, education, and women’s rights, will speak at the 2018 Rotary Convention in Toronto this June. For decades Mrs. Bush has fought for key national and global issues including launching groundbreaking education and healthcare programs in the U.S. and abroad.
Shannon Chow, a member of the Rotaract Club of Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is on a mission to “Pay It Forward” by practicing random acts of kindness. She first joined Rotaract as a student at Taylor’s University eight years ago and finds it a great platform to learn, practice, and exhibit leadership skills, as well as be mentored by Rotarians and other Rotaractors.
