Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there!!

Last Thursday (June 16th) We heard from Craig Shaman, MCHS Athletic Director. Craig was to talk about the upcoming Golf Outing but instead give a presentation and what the athletic department really does to support students. Click here for a video of his moving presentation.

This week (June 23rd) we will hear Amy Wisor, Dunebrook's Community Outreach Coordinator. Amy will be talking about the Grow with Dunebrook project which is part of the Healthy Families Home Visiting Program of La Porte County.

Rotary Installation Meeting

SAVE THE DATE!

The Rotary Club’s annual installation meeting will be held on Thursday June 30th at 6:15pm. There’s a bit of business to conduct, but it’s a GREAT time for fellowship and a bit of fun. Terry Voltz, incoming president, will be providing more information and a formal invitation.

There will be time to mingle and enjoy a relaxing time with other Rotarians and guests—and by all means, spouses and other guests are most welcome. If there’s a person you’ve been thinking of inviting to consider becoming a member, this would be a great event for him or her to attend.

The Rotary Garden Needs Work

Volunteers Needed!

One half of the Rotary Garden needs to be completely tilled up and replanted.

The Rotary Garden is a centerpiece for wedding celebrations and public festivals at the Friendship Botanic Gardens. When the Garden staff gives tours, they feature Rotary and its mission. Therefore, the garden has to be in tip top shape.

It’s June, so work has to be accomplished ASAP.
