Our August 27th meeting will be a face to face meeting at the Barker Mansion.  We have taken all precautions against COVID-19 recommended by the CDC, local government, and state health officials.  We will be meeting outside with the appropriate social distancing. We will be accepting credit cards for dinner, the queen drawing, and the eyeglasses programs.  Face masks are mandatory and hand cleaner as well as alcohol to clean up the credit card machine will be available.  In order to let Patrick's Grille know how many lunches to bring to the meeting we need you to fill out the RSVP form located here or call or email me to let us know you are coming.

 

Just like the people and communities we serve, our members need to feel seen and heard. As Rotarians, you are seeking experiences that feel personally and professionally relevant and fulfilling. We are dedicated to investing in you at every stage of your professional life.  Even though there may be many other options for networking and volunteering, Rotary can provide unique and valuable training and experiences.

 

To start, I invite you to attend the La Porte club's "Learning from a Leader" series which begins on Monday, August 31.  For more information and instructions for registering, see Leigh Morris' comments from the August 13th meeting below.  In addition, you now have access to 6 online courses from Toastmasters International via the Rotary International Learning Center at https://learn.rotary.org.  We also are working to establish a partnership with the local Toastmasters club to provide in-person opportunities to perfect your public speaking skills.
