On June 25th we met at the Friendship Botanic Gardens.  This was the first onsite meeting since the pandemic moved us to virtual meetings in April.

Marty Corley ran the Sarge program. Many stories of past events at the garden were discussed. Everyone thanked Jessica O'Brien for her year as club president.  Jim Welborne announced that with the help of John Wendel's points, the club is going to present Jessica with a Paul Harrris Fellowship.

John Leinweber indicated that the Rotary Garden is in need of work.  Jim asked Leigh Morris if the La Porte Rotary club would like to partner with us in maintaining the garden.  Leigh indicated they would.

Maintenance of the garden will be discussed at our next club meeting on July 2nd.
