The Rotary Club will be presenting the Service Above Self Awards at a breakfast awards ceremony which we hope will become an annual event. Please plan to join us on Thursday, October 31 at The Salvation Army, 1201 S. Franklin Street, for a breakfast buffet as we recognize those who exemplify Service Above Self from the Michigan City Police Department, Michigan City Fire Department, Michigan City Area Schools and the JROTC. Check-in will be at 7:45am and the program will start at 8am. As this is the last Thursday of the month, there will be no regular lunch meeting that day and no Thirsty Thursday evening social. I hope you will all make time for this special recognition to support those doing so much good in our community. Feel free to invite your family and friends to attend as well!
