From Argentina to Teaching to Reaching out for Climate Solutions (past Rotary Exchange student!)
I was a Rotary Club high school exchange student in Argentina 50 years ago. The experience had a lasting impact on my life, including my first awareness of environmental issues. The purpose of my presentation will be to: 1) thank Rotarians for the positive effect of their exchange program, and 2) share the story of how my experience in Argentina shaped my career as a teacher and has led to my involvement with Citizens' Climate Lobby, a nonpartisan organization that advocates for a fair and effective transition to a clean energy economy.
