President's Message

Our Rotary Club struggled in 2021 as the coronavirus continued to be a problem.  Yet we were still able to accomplish ten major projects ranging from the Rotary Garden at friendship Botanic Gardens through ringing the bells for the Salvation Army this Christmas time.

Over the course of the year in 2021 we had 19 speakers including a month-long professional development series with professors from Purdue northwest.

Through your generosity and at times with help from Rotary district grants we were able to provide oximeters to help manage COVID patients, a bench along the path at Franciscan hospital, turkeys and hams for the Salvation Army at Christmastime, support for Rotary international's polio plus campaign, the Alinsky award, service above self awards, and many other contributions.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all our Rotarians for what you accomplished during these difficult times. And I wish you and all your families a Happy New Year!

Just a reminder that we will not be meeting this week.  I'll see you next year on January 6th at Patrick's Grille.
