What else is Possible? - what if one hour could trigger a shift in a suicidal point of view?Suzy Vance & Laura Stegenga
What else is Possible?

After many years as a lawyer in the courtroom  focusing on personal and professional disputes, I made a different choice. I became a Life Coach (long before there was such a term) to help people create ease when they shifted (voluntarily or otherwise) and moved forward.

From time to time when we hit a rough spot in the road, we all ask questions like “What else is possible?” and “How does it get any better than this?”, even if we don’t use these exact words. What if we asked these questions... and perhaps others ...even when things are gong great...and we're just curious about what it would take to have more joy in life.

There’s no road map once we are born. And life does present us with choices. Some may even feel like hard choices. What if we could choose with  ease.  Would life be even better? I wonder.

What if one hour could trigger a shift in a suicidal point of view?

People of Action Inspire
The Rotary Club of Michigan City has youth programs to inspire our young people to achieve and flourish.

Some of these programs are:

Sponsorship of youth attending Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA).  RYLA encourages servant leadership in youth by recognizing and rewarding deserving 11th grade students who are chosen to attend RYLA as an "award" for their past and present leadership and service activities. These select young people attend an all-expenses-paid camp where they are inspired by a diverse group of exceptional speakers, make life-long friends through fellowship activities, and discuss the ethical and social issues of today. These activities are conducted in an atmosphere of trust and respect. The result is that these students return to their schools and communities motivated to take on additional leadership roles and to find additional ways to serve.

Awarding of scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate leadership, community service and educational prowess.

Sponsorship of the Michigan City Robotics Club whose mission is to transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders.

Rotarians contribute more than $300 million to The Rotary Foundation
Rotarians and friends contributed a total of $304.3 million (unaudited) to The Rotary Foundation during the centennial year, a celebration of the Foundation’s 100 years of Doing Good. This amount surpassed the goal of $300 million set to mark the centennial in 2016-2017.

Your generous donations to the Annual, Endowment, and PolioPlus funds are empowering Rotary members to continue fighting disease, reducing poverty, providing clean water, promoting peace, and advancing economic development in communities all over the world.
