More than 5,400 young people across LaPorte County are building economic knowledge and personal financial literacy through JA programs during this school year. The learning is possible because of our community's educators who invite JA programs into their classrooms and volunteers who mentor the youth.
The Michigan City Police are asking for help filling Easter eggs on Wednesday April 5th, 8am till finished (noon?) We will be filling the plastic eggs with candy. This will take place in the Senior Center located in Washington Park. Refreshments and drinks will be provided throughout the day. Lunch will be served at 11:00am.
Please stop in for a few hours to assist. As many volunteers as possible are needed to fill 50,000+ eggs!!! Click here to sign-up.

In St. Joseph, Michigan, USA, Rotary members have been matching high school students with mentors in their dream careers, providing valuable guidance as they explore their options after graduation. The exposure to community service has led students to start Interact clubs at six local schools, and has cemented the club’s connections with its community.
